SPEC-PRO® Rhino-Grip® Multi-Surface Primer/Sealer INT/EXT is a premium interior/exterior acrylic universal primer formulated to meet the performance requirements of the residential and commercial segments. Especially formulated to block most stains-water, smoke, ink, markers and tannin. Exceptional adhesion to glossy surfaces. Also recommended as a whole house primer for use on properly prepared interior or exterior wood, masonry, plaster, wallboard, galvanized metal, cement, brick, stucco, cement composition board, aluminum, and wall coverings. Some woods such as redwood and cedar may contain excessive amounts of tannins resulting in stain bleed-through. In such cases, an oil-based primer may be preferable. A second coat may also be used on redwood/cedar. Any tannin bleed should be encapsulated by the first coat and will not bleed into the second.
