Color inspiration can come from ANYTHING, so why not take some inspiration from our favorite and most streamed shows. We compiled some of the most watched tv series and found colors to match them! Maybe you will get color inspiration and a new tv series to watch out of this!
1. Bridgerton
Dearest Gentle Reader, if you have stumbled upon this article, you are in luck.
If you have not seen Bridgerton, you are sure to be missing out on all things 1814 London. Bridgerton recently released a spin-off series, Queen Charlotte, which features the historical figures Queen Charlotte and King George III. Bridgerton is beginning to pick up more traction as the third season should be coming out soon. We are obsessed with all things Bridgerton, especially their bright dresses and attire, we pulled some of our colors that go with Bridgerton’s color scheme, seen below.
2. Outer Banks
Who doesn’t love shows about treasure hunting and crazy treasure hunters??? Outer Banks is the perfect show for a modern twist on treasure hunting with friends. These color matches are sure to be GOLD for your next DIY project!
Are you more of a Kook or a Pogue?
Outer Banks is filmed in the Charleston area. We have several stores in the Carolinas, check them out here!
We also were the paint supplier for the production of Outer Banks. Here are some of the colors that Narrow Isle Production used on the set of the show.
3. Queen's Gambit
For all of our Queen’s Gambit stans and chess lovers, you will be in awe of this color palette. Just remember, the more you are known, the more dangerous the game can be…
4. Daredevil
We all have a little Daredevil in us, so why not use some of the colors inspired by the show Daredevil for a project at home. A businessman by day, vigilante by night, and painter on the weekend…oh wait, that last part may not be accurate, but you never know!
5. Stranger Things
Photos from The New York Times
The show that has a choke hold on everyone! Stranger Things has as on our toes after each episode and itching for more. The color scheme from this show is A-MAZ-ING. I mean who doesn’t love all things 80s, with the bright colors and the roller skates. Just be careful if you end up in Hawkins, you never know what is in the shadows.
6. Black Mirror
The Twilight Zone with a modern twist. Make sure to not watch by yourself, or you might get a little paranoid. Proceed with caution…
We have some darker colors to simulate the colors from this show, see below.
7. Suits
Who doesn’t love a little drama, especially LAWYER drama. This show and these colors are sophisticated, yet not too business-y.
8. Never Have I Ever
A show that perfectly represents growing up during high school. Never Have I Ever goes through Devi’s life as she is growing up, getting a boyfriend, applying for college, and all things a typical teenager does. These colors will definitely stand out with your next project, just ask John McEnroe (the voice of Devi’s conscience in this series).
